About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities
- Gather, document, and clarify business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
- Lead initiatives in defining KPIs, metrics, and success measures for business initiatives
- Support process improvement efforts by identifying operational inefficiencies and recommending solutions
- Create business requirement documents, user stories, process flows, and presentations
- Extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to answer business questions
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Monitor business and operational performance metrics and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities
- Conduct root-cause analysis to support decision-making and problem resolution
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear, business-friendly manner
- Work closely with business leaders, product owners, technology teams, and operations partners
- Participate in project meetings, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions
- Support implementation and adoption of data-driven solutions
- Validate data accuracy and investigate data quality issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-10 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, reporting, or a related field
- Basic proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis
- Experience with Excel and reporting/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Preferred: Experience with Python, R, or other analytical tools
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management concepts
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
- Experience creating dashboards and executive reporting
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Knowledge of data modeling, databases, or cloud analytics platforms
