Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage a team delivering data products, ETLs, Python automations, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
Set technical direction across data ingestion, transformation, automation, and visualization.
Contribute hands-on to architecture, design reviews, and critical-path Python/ETL/dashboard development.
Own operational outcomes including data quality, reliability, performance, and dashboard availability.
Partner with TORC leaders, Digital Product Managers, and stakeholders to align on data needs and delivery priorities.
Drive modern data engineering practices including CI/CD, automated validation, monitoring, and reusable data patterns.
Translate risk and compliance needs into scalable data models, workflows, and insight-driven solutions.
Enable strong agile execution focused on measurable outcomes and business value.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, data accessibility, and trusted reporting.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of engineering experience with hands-on Python and data product delivery.
2+ years leading engineers with technical oversight (architecture, code reviews, delivery coaching).
Experience building and operating scalable data pipelines, ETLs, and analytical/reporting systems.
Strong experience with data modeling, APIs, backend integrations, and data quality practices.
Knowledge of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, observability, automation).
Experience delivering dashboards and translating complex data into actionable insights.
Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional stakeholders.
