About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues, implement solutions, and drive improvements
Design environment sizing, application deployment, disaster recovery, and architecture direction for application portfolios and environment support teams
Develop and maintain application infrastructure roadmaps
Monitor the current environment/tool status, performance, and capacity using dashboards
Provide technical and professional leadership for supported applications and coach junior level Engineers
Participate in the on-call rotation to provide support for the scheduling package

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 or more years of experience in enterprise infrastructure or platform engineering
Proven experience supporting Linux and Windows environments in an enterprise setting
Strong hands-on expertise in PowerShell scripting
UNIX/Linux shell scripting
Experience with datacenter technologies (networking, firewall, database, virtualization, access management)
Demonstrated knowledge of security protocols, particularly SSL certificate management
Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring/observability tools
Experience supporting batch processing environments and scheduling systems software
Familiarity with cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments
