About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage all U.S. payroll tax compliance activities for the organization.
Ensure the company meets all federal, state, and local payroll tax obligations.
Maintain strong internal controls and drive process improvements for efficiency and compliance.
Oversee tax filings and ensure accuracy and timely submission of all tax returns.
Manage tax notices or inquiries from IRS and coordinate audits.
Work closely with Payroll, Finance/Accounting, HR, and Legal teams for alignment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5–7 years of progressive experience in U.S. payroll and multi-state payroll tax compliance including federal, state, and local filings.
Hands-on experience with ADP Smart Compliance and ADP GlobalView (or similar enterprise payroll system).
In-depth knowledge of U.S. payroll tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Superior organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
