About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Efficiently handle a large number of pending subrogation files
Collaborate with attorneys to discuss case details and formulate legal strategies
Assist in gathering and organizing documents, evidence, and legal research for cases
Open new case files and prepare demand letters for payment
Update attorneys on case progress
Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery responses, and motions
Handle all necessary legal filings and ensure compliance with court deadlines
Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
Participate in training sessions and mentorship programs to develop legal skills

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must meet the minimum qualifications for paralegals as defined by applicable state law
0-2 years experience (Preferred)
Experience as a Paralegal with a focus on subrogation, insurance defense, or civil litigation preferred
Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment
Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence
