Platform Engineering Manager – Infrastructure as Code

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop a team of infrastructure engineers in defining and executing the IaC and platform automation strategy
- Drive adoption of engineering best practices, automation, and platform standardization
- Lead the implementation and scaling of Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform
- Enable and support infrastructure across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and on-prem environments
- Enhance and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Improve platform observability, monitoring, and alerting capabilities
- Incorporate security best practices such as least privilege access and secrets management
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7 years or more of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
- 2 years or more of leadership or team management experience
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred)
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)
- Experience supporting or operating within a hybrid infrastructure environment
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automation practices
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking fundamentals, and distributed systems
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
