About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage accounting team for employee compensation and benefits
Oversee accounting team for accrual, prepaid expenses, and operating expenses
Manage intercompany accounting team
Manage preparation and review of statutory and GAAP financial reporting
Direct monthly and quarterly close activities for expenses
Ensure compliance with statutory accounting principles
Support and coordinate internal and external audits activities
Manage, coach, and develop accounting staff
Lead multiple complex accounting and financial projects concurrently
Identify and drive process improvement and efficiency initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of accounting experience
Experience with pension accounting, equity compensation accounting, lease accounting and enterprise or corporate accounting processes preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong communication and leadership skills
Significant experience with financial ledger software
