Paralegal Specialist – Insurance Defense

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage litigation files from inception through resolution
- Draft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practice
- Order and track medical records; coordinate expert review and disclosures
- Prepare arbitration and trial materials, including jury instructions
- Handle e-filing in Georgia Courts
- Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance
- Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case files
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Requirements: Paralegal qualifications as defined by state law
- Experience as a Paralegal: Focus on insurance defense or civil litigation preferred
- Experience managing high-volume caseloads: In a fast-paced legal environment preferred
- Familiarity with legal procedures: Including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings
- Excellent organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills: For drafting legal documents and correspondence
