About the role
- Investigate and confirm facts of loss for complex automobile accidents
- Determine coverage, liability, and damages and adjust and negotiate claims within limits of authority
- Determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle complex cases
- Apply advanced understanding of company insurance policies and organizational relationships
- Handle investigations of all aspects of complex auto claims with discretion and independence
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims when involved
- Recognize vehicle body parts and assess property damage
- Identify customer needs and meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
- Mentor junior employees
Requirements
