About the role
- Investigating and resolving attorney-represented bodily injury claims within our UM Extended Handler Bodily Injury Casualty Unit.
- Confirming the facts of loss for complex automobile accidents.
- Determining coverage, liability, and damages, and negotiating settlements within assigned authority limits.
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
- Helping to drive consistent, high-quality claim handling and development across the team.
Requirements
- A solid foundation in UM and coverage investigations is highly desirable.
- Experience handling claims in AL, AR, MS, MO, TX, TN, and LA is a strong plus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excel at managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, and adaptability.
