About the role
- Identify, validate, and prioritize Workday platform opportunities, features, and capabilities through direct input with the user community, business, and technical partners
- Use your domain knowledge to ideate and design a scalable and robust, full platform experience for core HR, and overall Workday HCM
- Lead development and recommendation of new techniques and processes to support innovative solutions
- Coach and mentor members of the team as well as members of the cross-functional development organization
- Partner with stakeholders inside and outside of the enterprise, and present to field teams and at events as the “product expert” for your defined product area.
- Make build, buy and/or partner decisions to advance product strategy and maximize KPIs
- Be customer focused with a priority on understanding their experiences, needs and habits to elicit their feedback to potential product concepts and/or released product iterations.
- Engage in discovery/test & learn activities to quickly validate concepts as appropriate for backlog investments.
- Weigh alternatives and considers service and business implications of decisions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in Product Management (Preferred)
- 5+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products (Preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Agile product management (Preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with Workday HCM (Preferred)
