About the role

  • Architect and lead development of technical solutions that are secure, robust, performant, and scalable
  • Employ technical and thought leadership to drive products from inception to release
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business needs
  • Write correct, well-factored, testable, maintainable code and demonstrate best practices
  • Balance cost of development, testing, deployment and operations to deliver optimum value
  • Own application components from inception through design, development, deployment and operations
  • Architect complex application workflows across multiple services, messaging platforms and data stores
  • Develop and test RESTful ASP.NET Core Web APIs in Azure Kubernetes Service accessing SQL and NoSQL data stores and interacting via asynchronous messaging and HTTP
  • Write unit and functional tests and author SQL Server database schemas and stored procedures
  • Measure, find and fix performance and security issues; review code and evangelize best practices
  • Deliver reliable, secure clinical data for compliance reporting from EHR sources (Veradigm Compliance Reporting Solutions)

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 7+ years of experience working with: C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, relational database development, distributed version control, continuous integration, enterprise architecture patterns, and leading agile teams
  • 3+ years of cloud development experience (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • Experience developing and testing RESTful ASP.NET Core Web APIs deployed in Azure Kubernetes Service
  • Experience with SQL Server database schema design and stored procedures
  • Experience with asynchronous messaging, HTTP integrations, and NoSQL datastores
  • Writing unit tests and functional tests
  • Experience measuring, finding and fixing performance and security issues
  • Experience authoring stories, estimating and tracking team work
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada; Visa sponsorship not offered
