About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct financial operations (accounts payable and accounts receivable), ensuring organization, accuracy and adherence to deadlines;
  • Design, implement and improve financial controls and operational routines, focusing on standardization and continuous improvement;
  • Create and maintain financial controls, structuring databases and ensuring data reliability;
  • Propose improvements to financial processes to increase efficiency, organization and scalability;
  • Organize and monitor cash flow, ensuring visibility and predictability of payments and collections;
  • Liaise with external accounting, supporting the monthly close and validating information;
  • Operate and support ERP management (master data, postings and configurations);
  • Develop management reports and presentations (Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Support control of actuals vs. budget, analyzing and flagging variances;
  • Serve as the finance focal point for internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related fields;
  • Experience with operational finance routines (accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations and liaison with accounting), with an active role in executing and organizing processes;
  • Experience creating and maintaining financial controls and reports;
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas and database organization);
  • PowerPoint for preparing executive materials;
  • Experience with financial ERP systems (SAP or similar);
  • Analytical, organized and autonomous profile, able to structure routines and propose improvements;
  • Good communication skills to interface with internal teams and partners;
  • Preferred: experience in financial/development-stage (startup) environments, outsourced accounting, high transaction volumes and data tools (e.g., Power BI).
