About the role
- Planning and conducting wound rounds, wound documentation, and performing wound assessments
- Implementing optimal wound prophylaxis and preventing or minimizing pain burden
- Assisting treating physicians with conventional wound care
- Supporting the training of nursing staff (instruction and guidance on wound care, infection control)
- Providing individual basic and treatment care for residents
- Documenting the care process for residents (medication administration, care protocols, etc.)
- Collaborating with the team to ensure care quality
- Providing a listening ear for residents and their relatives
Requirements
- Qualified as a registered nurse and/or geriatric nurse (with additional certification in wound management)
- Team player with empathy in dealing with residents and colleagues
- Independent, solution-oriented working style
- Willingness to work all shifts
- Basic IT skills / comfort using IT systems
