About the role
- Planning and conducting wound rounds, wound documentation, and performing wound assessment and history-taking
- Implementing optimal wound prophylaxis and preventing or minimizing pain
- Assisting treating physicians with conventional wound care
- Training nursing staff in wound care and infection prevention
- Providing individualized basic and treatment care for residents
Requirements
- Completed professional training as a certified nursing specialist, geriatric nurse and/or registered nurse with additional training as a wound manager
- Team player with empathy in interactions with residents and colleagues
- Independent, solution-oriented working style
- Willingness to work across all shifts
- Basic IT affinity / comfort with common IT systems
