About the role
- Planning and conducting wound rounds
- Wound documentation and compiling wound assessments
- Optimal wound prophylaxis and minimizing patient pain
- Supporting treating physicians with wound care
- Training nursing staff in wound care and infection prevention
- Individual basic and therapeutic care of residents
- Documentation of the nursing process (medication administration, care records)
- Contributing to ensuring quality of care
- Serving as a compassionate point of contact for residents and their families
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a registered nurse, geriatric nurse and/or health and nursing nurse with additional qualification in wound management
- Team player with empathy in dealings with residents and colleagues
- Able to work independently and solution-oriented
- Willingness to work across all shifts
- Basic IT affinity / comfort with IT systems
