About the role
- Planning and conducting wound rounds and visits
- Wound documentation and preparation of wound anamnesis (wound assessment)
- Implementing optimal wound prevention and minimizing pain for residents
- Assisting with conventional wound care
- Training nursing staff in wound care and infection prevention
- Providing individualized basic and treatment care to residents
- Documenting the care process (medication administration, care records)
- Ensuring quality of care and maintaining open communication with residents and their relatives
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a qualified nurse (e.g., geriatric nurse and/or registered nurse) with additional certification in wound management
- Team player with empathy in dealing with residents and colleagues
- Independent and solution-oriented working style
- Willingness to work across all shifts
- Basic IT affinity/competency
