About the role
- Manage and expand a diverse customer portfolio across the region, fostering long-term partnerships and high-value opportunities
- Identify and secure new business aligned with the regional and global Coatings Additives strategy
- Build and execute customer-specific account plans to maximize engagement, solution adoption, and revenue
- Collaborate with a robust network of distributors to strengthen our market presence and unlock untapped potential
- Drive sales performance through targeted channel programs and effective partner alignment
- Lead pricing strategies and negotiations with a sharp focus on value, competitiveness, and long-term profitability
- Achieve volume, margin, and working capital targets in accordance with company standards and financial discipline
- Champion the successful introduction and scaling of new additives, partnering with Marketing, Business Development, and Technical teams
Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience in sales or business development within the coatings additives market
- Strong commercial and technical understanding of industrial and architectural coatings applications
- Proven track record managing customer accounts and distributor relationships in North America
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset
- High level of digital and analytical fluency, including Microsoft Excel and CRM/reporting tools
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and customer-centric environment
- Availability to travel around 50% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline (required)
- Specific experience with coatings additives is essential
- A Master’s degree in Science, Commerce, or Marketing is a strong plus
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
