Account Manager – Off-Highway
Allison TransmissionAccount Manager overseeing business development for North America Off-Highway. Leading account management and fostering customer relationships across assigned territories.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Based in North America and reporting directly to Head of OEM Mobile Sales North America Off-Highway
- Responsible for leading the Account Management & Business Development for assigned accounts
- Manage day-to-day account activities, including coordination between customer and internal teams (engineering, operations, finance, etc.)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers
- Support execution of customer and product growth plans within assigned accounts
- Support analysis of product value and competitive positioning; assist in maintaining profitability
- Provide regular forecasts and updates for new and existing business opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams to support product launches, ongoing programs, and issue resolution
- Monitor customer performance and activity metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field required
- 5 - 7+ years of progressive sales and business development experience
- 3+ years leading strategic OEM accounts (preference in Off-Highway Market)
- Preferred Background selling drivetrain, powertrain, motion control, or integrated systems
- Experience working in highly matrixed, global organizations
- Travel Up to 50% travel may be required
- Experience in Off‑Highway, heavy equipment, or complex industrial markets
