About the role
- Overseeing and administering strategic sourcing endeavors for various departments.
- Lead communication efforts to negotiate agreements with external stakeholders/suppliers.
- Develop comprehensive short- and long-term strategies for each category of expenditure.
- Conduct thorough risk analyses and develop robust mitigation plans.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with department and business unit leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, accounting, or supply chain.
- 8 + years of work-related experience required.
- Experience in procurement/strategic sourcing,
- Preference for candidates who have served as Category Managers,
- Candidates with CPSM certification from the Institute for Supply Management (or equivalent) preferred.
- Tangible achievements as an Analyst may also be considered.
