About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support investment operations and treasury activities, ensuring investment transactions are processed, reconciled, and accounted for accurately and on time
Manage the end-to-end operational lifecycle of mutual fund investments, including transaction processing, settlements, reconciliations, and reporting
Perform valuation, accounting, and financial reporting for investment-linked funds in compliance with policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
Execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal postings, reconciliations, and management and regulatory reporting
Prepare investment-related reports and analyses and respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders, fund managers, custodians, auditors, and regulators
Support statutory and audited financial statement preparation by coordinating with external auditors and providing accurate documentation
Collaborate with Finance, Investment, Risk, Compliance, and external service providers
Identify process enhancement, efficiency, and risk mitigation opportunities through automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement
Undertake other duties requested by Management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree/Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related discipline
2–4 years of experience in investment operations, fund accounting, or treasury operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with data analytics, automation tools, Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, or similar solutions is an advantage
Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT for task simplification
Good team player, self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
