About the role
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for client stakeholders, ensuring clarity on scope, timelines, risks, and required decisions throughout diligence and integration; seek ongoing feedback from clients/stakeholder/cross-functional teams to measure overall project expectations
- Lead defined diligence workstreams (Finance, Commercial, Operations, IT, HR) and deliver clear, decision-ready findings on time and on budget
- Build and maintain financial and operational models to estimate synergies and support valuation and negotiation materials
- Create and oversee functional integration plans (tasks, owners, timelines, risk tracking) and operationalize PMO dashboards and trackers
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve dependencies, ensure alignment across workstreams, and provide timely status updates to the Integration PMO and client sponsors
- Identify practical quick wins and near-term synergy opportunities; develop recommendations and support client teams with execution
- Facilitate client workshops and onsite sessions during high-intensity diligence phases and early integration weeks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- Preferred 6+ years of relevant experience in M&A advisory, corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or Big Four transaction services, including at least 2 years directly working on deals or integrations
- Practical experience translating diligence insights into integration plans that operational teams can execute
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate/present complex topics into clear messages for clients
- Highly motivated, results oriented, and collaborative team player
- High sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities
- Receptiveness to performance feedback within a team environment is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
- Available to travel 25% to 50% within the United States.
