About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acts as an agent of a broker assigned accounts for Private Client Services
- Manages the book of business and directs the work of a service team
- Receive and develop new business leads from Producers
- Responsible for renewal business and soliciting additional lines of coverage
- Evaluate assigned client coverage portfolio to implement cross-selling opportunities
- Service account and provide claims support as needed
- Analyze exposure base to identify program deficiencies
- Complete applications, obtain quotes, negotiate premiums and commissions
- Bind coverage, identify deficiencies, and determine the appropriate level of coverage
- Meet with clients as needed or as directed by the Producer
- Review accounting history, respond to inquiries, correct discrepancies
- Handle collection of fees, reconciling and resolving outstanding balances
- Comply with agency management system data standards and integrity
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Eight (8) or more years of experience in the Private Client/High Net Worth insurance space required
- Private Client experience required
- Valid insurance license required
- Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of a wide array of private client customizable coverages
