Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advising on complex legal matters at the intersection of technology, data, and business strategy
  • Partnering closely with IT and other stakeholders to provide thoughtful, practical legal guidance on cybersecurity, privacy, and emerging technologies
  • Contributing to evolving policies and procedures
  • Identifying and mitigating risk in a dynamic environment
  • Drafting contracts, pleadings, memorandum and other legal documents for filing before regulatory agencies or state or federal courts
  • Monitoring legal and business developments that may affect a project and determining the appropriate course of action
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and communications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, college or university is required
  • Admission to practice law in Iowa or Wisconsin, or the appropriate jurisdiction is required
  • 3 or more years of experience in a wide range of legal issues after receiving law degree
  • Proven ability to plan and carry out more complex and non-routine work at a high level with minimum direction
  • Demonstrated excellent legal research skills
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use computer software programs (e.g., e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and project management)
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and inclusive work environment
