About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the P&C focal point for compensation requests, including new hire offers, promotions, movement-in-range adjustments, and transfers
  • Administer annual compensation cycle logistics with Finance and P&C leadership
  • Maintain and apply salary structures and bands; conduct market data review and benchmarking
  • Prepare and route promotion, salary increase, and transfer letters and ensure role-change tickets are processed
  • Partner to keep job descriptions current and aligned with the salary structure
  • Handle day-to-day employee relations matters, workplace concerns, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
  • Lead resolution and documentation of employee relations matters, escalating legal or reputational risks as needed
  • Advise managers on performance management and disciplinary action
  • Lead P&C and Operations internal communications, including policy updates, benefits reminders, and announcements
  • Coordinate internal communications channels via Slack and manage a cross-departmental communications calendar
  • Partner with Marketing & Communications on aligned internal messaging
  • Maintain current P&C content on internal platforms
  • Support change management using an ADKAR approach
  • Lead employee engagement surveys, recognition programs, engagement programming, and culture-building initiatives
  • Translate engagement survey data into actionable follow-up with leadership
  • Lead organization-wide events and support retreat planning
  • Provide backup recruitment coordination during peak hiring or absences
  • Maintain familiarity with recruitment systems and workflows to avoid disruption to candidate experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 6–8 years of progressive People & Culture/Human Resources experience, including employee relations, compensation administration, and internal communications
  • Demonstrated experience administering compensation programs and evaluating compensation requests against salary structures and guidelines
  • Experience leading or contributing to organization-wide committee work and coordinating across departments without direct authority
  • Strong written communication skills, including drafting clear organization-wide internal communications
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks such as ADKAR is a plus
  • Sound judgment and discretion handling confidential and sensitive employee relations matters
  • Collaborative, relationship-oriented approach
  • Relevant HR certification such as SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred
  • Must possess current and valid US Work Authorization and be eligible to work for any US employer without sponsorship
