About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on significant commercial development, urban renewal and infrastructure projects, including commercial office towers, industrial facilities, build-to-rent projects, mixed use precincts and renewable energy projects.
- Advise on acquisitions and disposals of assets of all types of property classes, including commercial, retail, industrial, residential and hotels.
- Assist with sale and leaseback transactions.
- Support matters involving tourist resorts and mixed-use developments and operation.
- Advise on joint venture and co-ownership arrangements.
- Manage leasing and lease negotiation.
- Handle real estate aspects of M&A transactions.
- Address general real estate issues such as subdivisions, enforcement of securities and financing.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in a Real Estate team within a law firm (we are also open to a combination of private practice and in-house experience)
- Experience in the acquisition, development and sale of real estate assets.
- The ability to effectively manage matters autonomously and as part of a team.
- A strong academic background.
- A willingness to participate in business development activities, such as pitch documents, firm-wide pursuits, article writing, attending industry events and hosting seminars.
- A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others
