• Administration of compounds to mice (iv, ip, sc, po, im, ro, icv)

Research Associate I, Lab Animal Services

Program Manager

• Establish and lead program management processes to drive cross-departmental communication and facilitate accomplishing ambitious goals
• Work with Allen Institute leadership on strategic planning and development of annual goals and program portfolios, to meet the Institute's milestones
• Drive, coordinate, and support programs using project management best practices and tools
• Create, maintain, and disseminate project deliverables and timelines. Keep project milestones on track, anticipating and communicating at-risk deliverables
• Work with team members to identify options and implement mitigation strategies
• Organize and lead internal and external project meetings with clear agendas, expected outcomes, follow-up on project-related actions and performance tracking metrics
• Enable communication between project stakeholders. Provide an efficient and flexible collaborative environment to manage internal and external team communication and collaboration
• Synthesize inputs into clearly written status/progress reports, coordinating information across internal teams and external partners
• Contribute to the teams fiscal management, including budget planning, resource forecasting, expenditure monitoring

Scientific Program Manager, Science Initiatives

Full-stack Engineer

• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to design and build computer vision algorithms for large scale video data
• Pilot and implement methods for video analysis: pose tracking, object detection, activity segmentation, action recognition
• Work with a software team to integrate algorithms and results into a broader analytics platform
• Follow team software best practices - write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, track issues, version code, manage stage/production environments, write documentation
• Share your methods with the community via white papers, conference talks, and journal articles

Software Engineer II – Computer Vision for Biology

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Develop, enhance, and maintain the Institute's long range financial and operational models to support dynamic planning and scenario analysis.
• Create what-if scenarios to evaluate financial and operational pressures on the institute and work to mitigate challenges with the team.
• Establish best practice for model design, documentation, and version control.
• Lead and participate in the preparation for the annual budgeting process from budget targets through approval, including validation and alignment with Institute objectives
• Collaborate with program and department leaders to develop budgets and resource plans in line with annual budget targets
• Consolidate and validate all budget submissions and prepare executive review and board presentations
• Manage quarterly forecast cycles using actuals and adjusted assumptions
• Track and report on budget vs. actual performance through automated reporting and provide variance explanations
• Design creative solutions to enhance understanding of Institute plans and actuals
• Identify inefficiencies in the FP&A processes and workstreams in order to establish opportunities to streamline

• Provide a range of administrative, planning, and executive level support services of a complex and confidential nature to our Executive Vice President and our Executive Director of Scientific Operations
• Manage and maintain EVPs and Executive Directors active and complex calendars in a dynamic environment
• Manage expenses and timely submission of expense reports for EVP and Operations Director
• Coordinate domestic and international travel, arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas, as needed
• Communicate with the general staff on leaderships behalf, coordinating and scheduling internal and external meetings, as well as video and teleconferences
