About the role
- Provide expert medical consultation and guidance on occupational health matters.
- Conduct medical examinations and assessments relevant to occupational health and safety.
- Develop and implement health and wellness programs for employees.
- Manage and oversee medical surveillance programs as required by regulations.
- Provide medical advice on workplace injuries and illnesses, including return-to-work programs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant occupational health laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources and Health & Safety teams on workplace health initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Offer training and education on health-related topics to employees and management.
Requirements
- Licensure: Must have passed the Physician Licensure Examination administered by the Board of Examiners for Physicians.
- Must be licensed to practice medicine in the Philippines.
- Training in Occupational Medicine: Preferably a graduate of a training course in occupational medicine conducted by: The Bureau of Working Conditions, The Institute of Public Health of the University of the Philippines, or Any accredited organization.
- Experience: Experience is not necessary, as long as you are open to being trained in occupational medicine.
- Strong commitment to promoting employee health and safety.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Strong ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
