About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Service and perform preventative maintenance on Stanley Automatic Door Operating Equipment and other electro/mechanical equipment serviced by the branch
Perform service and repair work in a profitable and proper manner
Record productive time versus travel time
Perform preventive maintenance according to designated customer service programs
Maintain accurate work records and parts used at each job
Keep updated on changes and modifications to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards
Keep manuals and details up to date
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and other property
Maintain adequate parts inventory for the service vehicle and keep inventory logs
Maintain good customer relations and customer service
Assist and instruct others in installation and service methods

Requirements

What you’ll need

HS Diploma or Equivalent is required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License
Frequently going up and down ladders
Standing on concrete several hours a day
Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, kneel or crawl, twisting spine
Ability to work in various climates
Ability to work overhead
Ability to lift and/or carry weight up to 50–75 lbs
Flexible work schedule required, including nights, weekends, or on-call work as necessary
Prior experience servicing automated doors preferred
Prior experience in construction field installing door frames and windows preferred
Associate degree in a related electrical, mechanical, or industrial field preferred
Prior experience in electrical, automotive, HVAC, or communication fields a plus
Prior experience as a glazier installing glass doors or windows and carpentry experience a plus
