About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform detailed dimensional and mechanical inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring devices.
Interpret and apply complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T standards to verify product conformity.
Assist in developing and implementing process controls, Identify and segregate non-conforming material and document inspection results accurately.
Conduct routine audits of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
Identify and segregate defective parts for review.
Collect, record, and analyze quality-related data to support quality improvement initiatives.
Prepare and analyze inspection reports and communicate findings effectively to supervisors and cross-functional teams.
Support documentation control by maintaining accurate inspection records and quality documents.
Support quality improvement projects by providing data-driven insights and technical expertise.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficient in Calipso programming language including CMM, optical comparators, hardness testing, height gauges, calipers, micrometers and other precision instruments.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD & T specifications.
Familiarity with quality management systems.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
