About the role
- Gain an understanding of how new construction and renovation projects are developed, furnished, and completed
- Interact with Allegion Field Sales professionals to support their roles on the team and learn best practices
- Learn Construction Division 8 products and standards
- Use digital tools and work with members of the sales team to qualify project leads
- Develop target account queries in Dodge to share with members of the sales team
- Participate in Allegion product and sales training sessions
- Obtain experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion
Requirements
- Legally authorized to be employed in the United States; employer will not sponsor visas
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, architectural, construction, or a related field
- Completed junior year or above by the start of the internship
- Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative (e.g., school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor)
- Passion for creating relationships and competitive spirit
- High internal motivation, creativity, and forward-thinking ability
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable creating and delivering recommendations and information to a group
- Strong organizational skills and technologically savvy
- Ability to stay organized and detail oriented
- Minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 GPA scale
