Provide enterprise-level leadership for the design, delivery, and evaluation of all Stations Operations training and standards initiatives.
Develop and execute a strategic roadmap aligning training and standards with Allegiant’s operational goals, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
Serve as primary liaison with FAA, DOT, TSA, IOSA/IATA, and other regulatory agencies regarding training and operational standards.
Directly oversee Managers of Stations Training and Standards & Instructional Design; ensure cross-functional alignment and accountability.
Ensure consistency and regulatory compliance of all training curriculum, instructional materials, and delivery methods systemwide.
Lead integration of adult learning principles, instructional technologies, and blended learning models into training programs.
Oversee technical writing, editing, and publication of operational manuals and training content to maintain regulatory compliance and clarity.
Identify gaps in training effectiveness and lead targeted improvement initiatives with the Director of Stations Operations, Standards & Training.
Establish and maintain auditing processes to verify training effectiveness, instructor performance, and adherence to company standards.
Oversee Safety Management System (SMS) integration and update policies, procedures, and curricula based on safety data and audits.
Leverage safety event reports, risk assessments, and root cause analyses to drive corrective and preventive actions.
Use data-driven insights from training performance and compliance results to identify systemic gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of training and standards professionals; build succession planning and professional development pathways.
Establish standards for recruiting and onboarding qualified personnel and model Allegiant’s customer service and safety standards.
Travel to station locations as needed to conduct training audits, observe instructional delivery, assess operational consistency, and engage local teams.
Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered.
Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Education Details: Bachelor's degree in Aviation.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in airline operations, training, or standards.
Minimum of three (3) years in a leadership role managing managers or equivalent leadership capacity.
Valid/Unexpired Passport Book No
Valid/Unexpired Driver's License No
Demonstrated knowledge of DOT, FAA, TSA, and ACAA regulatory requirements.
Proven experience in developing and managing large-scale training programs and compliance-driven standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and eLearning platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive-level presentation experience.
Strong background in international airline operations training requirements.
Preferred: Master’s degree or advanced certification in training, instructional design, or organizational leadership.
Preferred: Certification of experience in process improvement, project management, or change management.
