About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manages DHS staffing contracts, including establishing budgets and rates
  • Collaborate with DHS Fiscal on the review of bill rate calculations and contract agency invoices.
  • Manages contract employee recruitment and employment processes.
  • Collaborates with directors and hiring managers to identify staffing priorities.
  • Coordinates with hiring managers and staffing agencies on the preparation of job descriptions and selection processes.
  • Oversees process to promote contract opportunities via job boards, job fairs, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.
  • Determines starting salaries for new hires, promotions, etc.
  • Ensures all of our agency partners have the required clearances and other documents on file at all times.
  • Serves as a liaison between hiring managers and contract agencies on issues pertaining to leaves, disciplines, performance reviews, etc.
  • Review, analyze, and develop necessary operational policies and procedures according to state, federal, and county mandates and regulations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing contract and vendor relationships.
  • Experience in HR talent acquisition practices, preferred.
  • Highly organized and knowledgeable on recruitment strategies
  • Experience utilizing multiple technology platforms including but not limited to: HRIS Systems, MS Office Suite (Adobe, Excel, etc.), and social platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
