About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversees the Revenue & Claiming, Fiscal Reporting Accounts Payable and Title IV-Eligibility units
Establishes priorities, performance standards, internal policies, and procedures for Finance staff in the area of fiscal operations
Collaborates with the Deputy Director, Office of Administration (OA), and the Administrator, Bureau of Contract and Compliance (BCC) in carrying out the fiscal policies, rules, and regulations
Provides timely financial reports, analysis, and advice to assist with organizational decision-making
Acts as the DHS liaison to the Allegheny County Department Management and Budget and manages the development of DHS County budget
Assists in the preparation of budgets required for the State annual budget plans
Oversees the administration of all grants including federal, state, private, and donated revenues
Reviews and approves submissions to and communications with federal and state agencies
Implements fiscal policies and procedures for DHS

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
five (5) years of professional experience in fiscal management, auditing, economic analysis, fiscal planning, budget systems analysis, or a related field
three (3) years of management experience
