About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive potential revenue growth by establishing relationships and obtaining distribution agreements with key suppliers
- Identify business opportunities and manage customer relationships
- Execute sales strategies and achieve sales goals in the Space and Defense sectors in the U.S market
- Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and new programs within the US Space and Defense markets
- Prepare RFQ proposals and win orders to achieve revenue and profitability targets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Space, Defense, or relevant manufacturing business development and sales
- Familiarity with MIL-Spec is a plus
- Experience with electronic component sales and business development
- Electronic component engineering background is a plus
- Strong experience in responding to government or commercial proposals in Space or Defense market is a plus
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
- Experience with ERP highly desired – Salesforce, Quantum a plus
- Native in English
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers
- Above average Mathematical Skills
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
