About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct analysis of contracts in general, both named and unnamed, as well as prepare legal opinions, legal arguments and case-law research, with a contractual focus.
Draft, review and negotiate medium- and high-complexity legal instruments, with emphasis on assistance/healthcare service contracts.
Actively participate in the strategic day-to-day activities of the department, supporting the development of contractual clauses in line with business needs.
Serve as an interlocutor with internal departments, middle management and, occasionally, senior leadership, providing clear and objective legal guidance.
Monitor and analyze regulatory and legislative changes relevant to the sector, keeping the team and partner areas up to date.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree.
Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
Previous experience working with contracts in general, both named and unnamed, in a corporate environment.
Knowledge of the general part of the Civil Code, with emphasis on obligations and civil liability.
Experience drafting, reviewing and analyzing legal instruments, including medium- and high-complexity contracts.
Previous experience in the supplementary health sector (contracts for healthcare services) will be considered a plus.
Basic knowledge of Administrative Law.
Word – Advanced (document formatting, page layout and creating indexes).
Excel – Basic.
PowerPoint – Basic.
