About the role

  • Conduct regular 1-1s with each team member to provide coaching, feedback, and career development support
  • Mentor and coach engineers through code reviews and day-to-day support, raising the technical bar and fostering Skedda’s culture of ownership and growth
  • Coding won’t be your primary responsibility, but you should remain comfortable engaging directly when needed.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering team members to develop and deliver high-quality features
  • Manage two-week Agile sprints and facilitate standup meetings
  • Champion automated testing and maintain a high standard of code quality
  • Operate with an ownership mindset, taking technical projects from concept to launch while proactively identifying and solving problems
  • Research, propose, test, and implement new techniques, processes and technologies

Requirements

  • 9+ years of full stack development with C# and .NET/Core (ideally SaaS products)
  • 5+ years of leading projects and global teams
  • Strong experience with front end JavaScript frameworks
  • Strong experience developing Web APIs
  • Strong SQL skills (SQL Server preferred)
  • Strong TDD and test automation skills (both unit and integration testing)
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud
  • Azure DevOps experience is a plus
