About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans via video visits
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver high standards of care
  • Complete required training and uphold Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices
  • Educate patients on preventative care and wellness using evidence-based strategies
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and complete charting in a timely manner
  • Respond to patient questions and administrative messages and tasks
  • Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week, including consultations and medical guidance, with prescribing when clinically appropriate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Active ABIM board certification in Endocrinology through an ACGME-accredited program
  • Active IMLC license or actively in the process of obtaining one
  • Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state
  • 2 years of current and consecutive practice experience treating patients with an MD/DO license
  • Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with compassion and clarity
  • Ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting
  • Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice
  • Comfort using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools
  • Women's health experience is a plus
  • Prior telehealth experience is a plus
