About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans via video visits
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver high standards of care
- Complete required training and uphold Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices
- Educate patients on preventative care and wellness using evidence-based strategies
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and complete charting in a timely manner
- Respond to patient questions and administrative messages and tasks
- Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week, including consultations and medical guidance, with prescribing when clinically appropriate
Requirements
What you’ll need- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Active ABIM board certification in Endocrinology through an ACGME-accredited program
- Active IMLC license or actively in the process of obtaining one
- Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state
- 2 years of current and consecutive practice experience treating patients with an MD/DO license
- Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with compassion and clarity
- Ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting
- Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice
- Comfort using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools
- Women's health experience is a plus
- Prior telehealth experience is a plus
