About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans via video visits
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver high standards of care
Complete required training and uphold Allara’s clinical policies, standards, and best practices
Educate patients on preventative care and wellness using evidence-based strategies
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and complete charting promptly
Respond to patient questions and administrative messages and tasks
Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week, including consultations, medical guidance, and prescribing when clinically appropriate

Requirements

What you’ll need

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Active ABIM board certification in Endocrinology through an ACGME-accredited program
Active IMLC license or active pursuit of one
Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state
Two years of current and consecutive practice experience treating patients with an MD/DO license
Ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication with compassion and clarity
Ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting
Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice
Comfort using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools
Prior telehealth experience is a plus
Women’s health experience is a plus
