About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for leading the execution of the Credit Union's marketing strategy to drive membership growth, brand awareness, and community engagement
  • Oversees day-to-day operations of the Marketing Department, establishing priorities and assigning work
  • Manages project prioritization, workflow management, and resource allocation
  • Plans, executes, and tracks performance of marketing campaigns aligned with strategic goals
  • Leads marketing projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are effectively managed
  • Develops and deploys content supporting campaign objectives, brand standards
  • Ensures strong internal communication of all campaigns
  • Monitors and analyzes campaign performance to optimize engagement and ROI
  • Creates an engaging work environment by coaching and developing direct reports
  • Manages relationships with external marketing agencies and vendors
  • Directs content planning and production across all channels
  • Maintains marketing databases and reporting tools
  • Executes public relations and community engagement initiatives
  • Coordinates relationships with local media contacts and event partners
  • Ensures compliance of marketing materials with applicable regulations
  • Acts as brand steward by reviewing communications for consistency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five to eight years’ experience, preferably within a financial institution or regulated industry
  • Demonstrated strength in project management, including ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines and stakeholders
  • Proven leadership and team development experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinker with the ability to translate ideas into effective campaigns
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with marketing analytics tools and CRM systems preferred
