About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide medically credentialed instruction and operational support in a Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC)
  • Deliver TC3 training across all four tiers
  • Instruct 68W Combat Medic sustainment training and CLS initial/sustainment training to non-medical personnel
  • Maintain proper instructor-to-student ratios
  • Support a projected minimum throughput of at least 2,500 68W students annually across all MSTC sites
  • Operate MSTC systems and configure realistic training scenarios
  • Contribute to Monthly Staffing Report (MSR) data as required
  • Maintain training records, student evaluations, and AAR documentation
  • Participate in Quality Control Plan (QCP) activities and maintain all certifications current throughout the contract

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must meet ONE of the following: Former 68W or 18D NCO, ALC Graduate, Former Navy NEC 8404 or Navy Independent Duty Corpsman, E-6 or above, Former Air Force 4NOX1 or Aerospace Medical Service, E-6 or above, Currently licensed RN, PA, or Physician
  • Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (preferred)
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification (preferred)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (preferred)
  • Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) provider or instructor certification (preferred)
  • Experience with medical simulation TADSS (e.g., SimMan 3G, MTC2, Cut Suit)
  • Prior MSTC or medical simulation training center experience (preferred)
  • Experience with moulage techniques and theatrical special effects for high-fidelity scenarios (preferred)
