About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide medically credentialed instruction and operational support in a Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) environment.
  • Deliver TC3 training across all four tiers: All Service Members, Combat Lifesaver, Combat Medic, and Combat Paramedic.
  • Instruct mixed populations of Soldiers in class sizes directed by the medical proponent.
  • Assess students' critical thinking and psychomotor skills under high-fidelity simulated conditions.
  • Operate MSTC systems, configure and execute realistic training scenarios.
  • Document accidents/incidents and maintain training records, student evaluations, and AAR documentation.
  • Operate and perform operator-level preventive maintenance on assigned patient simulators and medical training equipment.
  • Participate in Quality Control Plan activities including peer observations and self-assessments.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidate must demonstrate a qualifying military medical or licensed clinical background, current required medical certifications, and experience delivering emergency medical, tactical trauma, or combat casualty care training.
  • Must meet one of the following: Former 68W or 18D Noncommissioned Officer, Advanced Leader Course Graduate, Former Navy Enlisted Classification 8404 or Navy Independent Duty Corpsman, E-6 or above, Former Air Force 4NOX1 or Aerospace Medical Service (4NOX1), E-6 or above, Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Physician Assistant (PA), or Physician.
  • Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification preferred.
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
  • Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) provider or instructor certification preferred.
  • Experience with medical simulation TADSS (e.g., SimMan 3G, MTC2, Cut Suit) preferred.
  • Familiarity with TC 8-800 tables and Deployed Medicine curriculum preferred.
