About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the single overall point of contact between CBO, the COR, executive leadership, and the Contractor’s technical teams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define needs and objectives and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions and implementation plans
  • Assign tasks to Contractor personnel and forecast labor burn rate; manage resources and budget across task orders
  • Oversee daily progress, manage schedules, and ensure quality standards and deliverables meet CBO requirements
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and other project-related risks
  • Prepare task proposals including budget and schedule development, and quantify detailed recommendations in written and verbal formats
  • Develop policies, procedures, and work instructions and manage stakeholder expectations across multiple concurrent activities
  • Ensure all work is documented with clear instructions for ongoing or recurring tasks so CBO can understand completed and required work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of program management experience (10+ years may substitute for the PMP certification)
  • Expertise in execution and oversight of major federal IT programs
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field preferred
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, or a minimum of 10 years of program management experience in lieu of PMP
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with senior-level executives
  • Working understanding of IT and cybersecurity capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Proficiency with project management tools and risk management
