About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide medically credentialed instruction and operational support in a Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) environment.
  • Deliver TC3 training across all four tiers: All Service Members (ASM/Tier I), Combat Lifesaver (CLS/Tier II), Combat Medic (CM/Tier III), and Combat Paramedic (CP/Tier IV).
  • Conduct training in classroom, laboratory, and field training/evaluation environments.
  • Maintain proper instructor-to-student ratios per MEDCoE directives.
  • Instruct mixed populations of Soldiers — both inexperienced and seasoned.
  • Assess students' critical thinking and psychomotor skills under high-fidelity simulated conditions.
  • Support a projected minimum throughput of at least 2,500 68W students annually across all MSTC sites.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidate must demonstrate a qualifying military medical or licensed clinical background.
  • Current required medical certifications.
  • Experience delivering emergency medical, tactical trauma, or combat casualty care training.
  • Prior experience in MSTC operations, high-fidelity medical simulation, TC3 instruction, 68W sustainment training, moulage, equipment maintenance, and training documentation is strongly preferred.
  • Former 68W or 18D Noncommissioned Officer (NCO), Advanced Leader Course (ALC) Graduate.
  • Former Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) 8404 or Navy Independent Duty Corpsman, E-6 or above.
  • Former Air Force 4NOX1 or Aerospace Medical Service (4NOX1), E-6 or above.
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Physician Assistant (PA), or Physician (MD/DO).
  • Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification preferred.
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
  • Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) provider or instructor certification preferred.
