About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide medically credentialed instruction and operational support in a Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) environment.
  • Deliver TC3 training across all four tiers: All Service Members (ASM/Tier I), Combat Lifesaver (CLS/Tier II), Combat Medic (CM/Tier III), and Combat Paramedic (CP/Tier IV).
  • Instruct 68W Combat Medic sustainment training and CLS initial/sustainment training to non-medical personnel.
  • Conduct training in classroom, laboratory, and field training/evaluation environments.
  • Maintain proper instructor-to-student ratios per MEDCoE directives.
  • Assess students' critical thinking and psychomotor skills under high-fidelity simulated conditions.
  • Support a projected minimum throughput of at least 2,500 68W students annually across all MSTC sites.
  • Operate MSTC systems (ISS, VPS, MT-C2).
  • Contribute to Monthly Staffing Report (MSR) data as required.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidate must demonstrate a qualifying military medical or licensed clinical background, current required medical certifications, and experience delivering emergency medical, tactical trauma, or combat casualty care training.
  • Prior experience in MSTC operations, high-fidelity medical simulation, TC3 instruction, 68W sustainment training, moulage, equipment maintenance, and training documentation is strongly preferred.
  • Candidate should be capable of instructing mixed-experience military populations in classroom, laboratory, and field environments while maintaining compliance with medical proponent standards, contract requirements, and certification obligations.
