About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as an instructor and course manager for security driver training courses
Plan, organize, and instruct driver training courses
Evaluate training effectiveness to ensure that objectives are met
Research and introduce applicable information into driver training courses
Resolve problems that occur in preparation for training
Assist in conducting practical exercises when needed
Establish and maintain liaison with law enforcement and military organizations
Keep abreast of current security techniques
Submit training records in a timely manner

Requirements

What you’ll need

Three (3) to five (5) years of instructor experience
Previous Law enforcement or military instructor experience is desired
High School diploma; Associates or Bachelors’ degree preferred
Certification as a driving instructor from a law enforcement academy or driver training school/academy
Intermediate knowledge of security/antiterrorist driving principles and concepts
Ability to provide in-car and classroom instruction for all aspects of off road and unimproved road driving techniques
Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
