About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently develop and revise Navy training materials in support of CTC courseware modernization and sustainment efforts.
Assist with development and revision of lesson plans, trainee guides, assessments, and presentation materials.
Format products using approved templates, style guides, and authoring tools.
Incorporate Government review comments and directed edits.
Support OMS repositories, file naming conventions, and version control logs.
Conduct proofreading, hyperlink checks, and quality control reviews.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years Navy curriculum development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Instructional Design, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Excellent writing, proofreading and design skills to develop training course materials.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must possess excellent written and spoken use of the English language.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; and attention to detail.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
