About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for delivering cost savings target for the Business Unit and populating the pipeline for future years
- Work closely with plant managers to control resources for cost saving projects
- Commit to business & plant safety processes and drive continual improvement in safety
- Advocate for a zero defects and losses quality culture
- Act as a project manager for significant multi-site projects
- Influence plant managers and quality managers to ensure sites operate with urgency and commitment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- A Master’s degree is preferred
- L6S Master Black Belt, or experienced Black Belt
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in continuous improvement, preferably within the automotive supply or battery industries
- Held leadership roles in large-scale manufacturing operations
- Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical process control and manufacturing data analysis
