About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for delivering cost savings target for the Business Unit and populating the pipeline for future years
Work closely with plant managers to control resources for cost saving projects
Commit to business & plant safety processes and drive continual improvement in safety
Advocate for a zero defects and losses quality culture
Act as a project manager for significant multi-site projects
Influence plant managers and quality managers to ensure sites operate with urgency and commitment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
A Master’s degree is preferred
L6S Master Black Belt, or experienced Black Belt
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in continuous improvement, preferably within the automotive supply or battery industries
Held leadership roles in large-scale manufacturing operations
Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical process control and manufacturing data analysis
