About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and lead new client implementation projects, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating tasks across cross-functional teams.
- Track project progress, manage risks using the ticketing system, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status, risks, and deliverables clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain all necessary documentation, including meeting notes, scope changes, and client communications.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to address issues and deliver solutions.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Host regular client meetings and travel for on-site visits when necessary.
- Support process improvements, refine workflows, and mentor new team members as needed.
- Track project financials and ensure time compliance for accurate reporting.
- Work closely with Client Success and Sales teams to ensure a seamless post-launch transition.
- Travel to meet with clients during the implementation lifecycle.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-7 years of project management experience in the financial services (FinTech, Online Banking, etc.) industry is required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey project updates and risks effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Workfront, Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing tickets, backlogs, and client-reported issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, Word) and Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
