About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As an Enterprise Project Manager, you will be responsible for the execution and delivery of medium- to large-scale projects within Alithya’s enterprise environment.
You will work with business stakeholders and project sponsors to define a clear project charter and drive the actions required to execute the project.
Plan, build and deploy projects related to enterprise management systems (Oracle Cloud ERP, MS Dynamics, etc.) and IT systems (new implementations, transformations and upgrades) in a matrixed environment.
Be responsible for project planning, delivery, resources, timelines and schedules, finances and sponsor satisfaction (hand-on involvement and in accordance with the project charter).
Coordinate with partners and working groups engaged in assigned projects.
Manage delivery-related issues and risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Manage project control and administrative activities (time and effort analysis, status reporting, project reviews, resource management) within required timeframes.
Meet regularly with team members to assess progress and define next steps while maintaining their motivation, collaboration, and performance.
Establish and manage priorities and see them through to completion, taking into account the various interdependencies across the portfolio.
Proactively manage scope and scope changes.
Escalate promptly any risks and issues that may lead to delays, budget overruns or quality problems and propose solutions.
Present project status reports to internal clients, including steering committees and executive-level sponsors.
Ensure that projects are well documented and that documentation is stored in the project repositories.
Work closely with the Change Management Lead to ensure all required change management activities are completed on time.
Perform other reasonable duties required by this role or requested by management.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration;
5 to 10 years of experience in ERP and IT project management;
CAPM or PMP certification;
Experience in flexible, innovative and fast-paced work environments;
Experience as a project manager in a Project Management Office (PMO) supporting matrixed project teams;
Experience with MS Office 365 and proficiency in project management software (MS Project preferred).
Ability to manage changing priorities and adapt accordingly;
Skill in leading steering committee discussions and governing the technical and business aspects of the project;
Organizing meetings, taking minutes (MoM), communicating and ensuring necessary follow-up with various stakeholders;
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders, including senior and executive management, and to influence outcomes.
Additional assets
Prior experience implementing Oracle ERP;
Experience working with cloud-based deployments.
Results-oriented with the ambition to achieve measurable objectives for the project and the PMO;
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
